I suck at doing the 30 day challenges, so I'll just say everything in parts. From here
Day 1: Favourite male character.

No doubt it's Hakuryuu. 8D When I looked at the anime trailer, I have the feeling that I'm going to like him and it's so strong that it made me love his seiyuu too. @//u//@ He might be the emo kid who's up to kill his mom, however he has a noble reason as to why he wants to do that. Aside from revenge, he wants to protect his sister from her so she won't get harmed. As for the war, it's not mentioned in the manga, but I think he wants a better empire for the people since I think most of them are war freaks. It's his purity and his ability that made Zagan choose him as the King Candidate after all.
Even though has a scar on his face, Hakuryuu never bothers concealing it and that is because he's not vain about his appearance. During the time he lost his left arm, he only complained that he can't use his spear right and fortunately by using Zagan's power, he provided himself a new wooden arm. \OuO/
I love that he's full of surprises. From the time he can manipulate Zagan's power to the point where he rashly confesses his feelings at Morgiana. I can see the he's forcing his feelings for her to get her attention, but at least he admits what he truly feel even though it's on a wrong timing.
Overall, I love Hakuryuu despite his flaws. I'm one of the few who is not blind about a character's flaws and those faults are the ones that makes them a better one. He has more good points too than bad.
Day 2: Favourite female character.

For this it's Morgiana. She's not the damsel in distress type. Heck she's even the manliest in the party. So manly that she has no doubts on carrying the three guys. I also like how she handled the situation between her and Hakuryuu. Plus it's a good thing that she will visit her homeland even though it's already deserted.
Day 3: A male character you don’t like.
Isnan. How dare he subtly injured my bias and then cut the latter's left arm in the process. eAe Well for this I can say any guy involved in Al Sarmen except for Judal, because even if he doesn't admit it, he was tortured by them and made him a dark Magi. His mind is contaminated with evulz to tell the truth from the bottom of his heart.
Day 4: A female character you don’t like.
Ren Gyokuen. That bitch is the one who tormented little Hakuryuu. The kid was innocent when he told his nightmare to his mom, but then this selfish bitch schemed something awful (that is obviously based from that bad dream) and let herself live, while her two sons and husband die.
To keep her place, she married her dead husband's younger bro. Good thing they didn't produce babies, but this woman has no idea to know her place. She also ditched her responsibility as the mother of Hakuei and Hakuryuu. See how shameless and selfish she can be!
So basically I dislike those who have hurt my bias badly. OTL
Day 5-8: Pairings
I don't favor nor hate a particular pairing in this series. I find it strange when I have no ships, but I have to say I love the cast. I love them together in groups. The relationships are platonic as stated at the one I have read.
I admit that I slightly like ZagaRyuu, but bleh it's not good enough to make it a favorite. 8D;
Day 9: Favourite friendship.

Aladdin, Alibaba, Morgiana, and Hakuryuu. Despite Hakuryuu being new to the team, their bond is strong and these four can make more lolzy moments. The one in chapter 122 is the best example. 8D
Day 10: Favourite manga cover.

Day 11: Favourite chapter.

Day 12: Favourite fight.
Aibaba's fight with Cassim during the Balbadd arc. I remember I cheered for him there and yes despite his conflicted feelings, he still fight bravely in the end.
Day 13: A scene that made you happy.
Hakuryuu finally made a proper appearance. It's worth the wait~ <3
Day 14: A scene that made you angry.
The moment where Gyokuen made little Hakuryuu's nightmare into reality. Wryyyyyyyy!!!! (@盆@)
Day 15: A scene that made you sad.
I find it sad that Hakuryuu had to fight desperately against his allies because he was hypnotized during the Pirates arc. Poor baby! ;u; Also where Hakuryuu initiated the separation between the four of them and his confession to Morgiana. He acted on impulse there, and the sad thing is that when they meet again they might become enemieswhich I don't want to happen.
So I hope their super duper strong friendship, complete with their improved skills they gained through how many months, can stop my poor troubled baby on starting a bloody war and think of a different solution instead.
I'll upload part 2 tomorrow~ \o/
